The Government of Tamil Nadu has launched a scheme for the distribution of sanitary napkins for school children. In this context, it is important to educate the children on the need and proper use of napkins. Maintaining personal hygiene is extremely crucial for the prevention of serious illnesses like cervical cancer. Therefore, with the support of UNICEF, training programmes were conducted in all the six Girls High and Higher Secondary schools in the District. View Photos
